How to Find Alien Weapons on Borderlands

Alien weapons are the rarest of artillery in the post-apocalyptic world of the video game "Borderlands." Alien, or "Eridian" weapons boast infinite ammunition, but eventually lose their energy and force your character to wait a few moments between shots. There is no surefire way to find these weapons, but repeatedly visiting a rare weapons cache with a save nearby will increase your chances. It's smart to group together with other players and share your time and resources.

     Save a game near a place with multiple weapon chests, like the New Haven area.

     Open all the chests in the area. Keep what you want and sell the rest. Save the game again.

     Exit out of the current game and reload your file. All the chests in New Haven will be restocked. Continue checking the chests until you have found the weapons.
