How to Make Your Lightsaber Purple

Although Jedi Master Mace Windu was the only character in the "Star Wars" movies to wield a purple lightsaber, you can change the dark apprentice's lightsaber to a purple hue in the "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" video game. To get the new purple lightsaber crystal, you will have to complete more than half of the campaign levels to reach Imperial Felucia. By this point in the game, you should be used to the advanced controls and how to defeat both native Felucians as well as Imperial Troopers to easily retrieve the rare purple lightsaber crystal.

Instructions

    • 1

Load the seventh mission of the campaign, which takes place on an Imperial-controlled Felucia.

    • 2

Travel along the jungle path, killing all Stormtroopers and glowing-blue Felucians that get in your way. Avoid the green-yellow exploding Sarlacc pustules on the surface of the planet because they take a large amount of health from you.

    • 3

Walk down the long metal pathway when the trail splits. Dodge between the large purple ray shields along the long metal platform, while killing the Imperial EVO and Purge Troopers.

    • 4

Kill the second large Purge Trooper droid along this path, and stand on the end of the metal path. Look up and to the right to see a glowing yellow box. Jump on the shining cobalt-colored fungus to use them as platforms. Touch the box to receive the purple lightsaber crystal.

    • 5

Change the color of your lightsaber by pausing the game and selecting the "Lightsaber" option. Scroll from left to right to select from the lightsaber crystals you have collected, and press "A" to confirm your selection.
