Cheats for Mega Man 8 Anniversary Collection for the XBox

Mega Man: Anniversary Collection for the Microsoft Xbox collects the first eight Mega Man games for the 15th anniversary of the blue bomber's first NES game. Players can use some cheat codes and glitches to help defeat Dr. Wily and his robots.

Dr. Wily's Fortress
- Some cheats will advance players directly to Dr. Wily's fortress. Use the password "Red C1," "Red D4," "Red F6," "Blue B4," "Blue D6," "Blue F1" to go to Wily's lair in "Mega Man 5." Enter "1415 5585 7823 6251" in "Mega Man 7" to do the same.
Engery Levels
- Players use energy tanks in the game to refill Mega Man's energy level when it is near depletion. You can start "Mega Man 3" with nine of these valuable items by using the cheat code "Red A6" at the password screen.
Pause Glitch Effect for Weapons
- In the original "Mega Man" you can pause a game the instant a weapon hits an enemy and then unpause the game for the weapon to hit your foe a second time. This trick works for weapons that travel through an enemy, including the Fire Storm, Ice Slasher, Rolling Cutter and Thunder Beam.
