How to Get an Action Replay Xbox to Work on Windows Vista

Instructions

  Insert the Action Replay Xbox install CD into the CD drive of your computer.

  Open \"My Computer\" and navigate to your CD drive. Right-click on the file \"Setup.exe\" and select \"Run as administrator,\" then follow the onscreen prompts to install the software.

  Download the Action Replay Xbox software update (see Resources) and unzip the file to your desktop.

  Right-click the unzipped file and select \"Run as administrator.\" Follow the onscreen prompts to update your Action Replay Xbox software.

  Return to the desktop and right-click \"My Computer.\" Select \"Properties\" then click \"Device Manager.\"

  Click the \"+\" icon next to the text \"USB Serial Bus Controllers,\" then plug the Action Replay Xbox device into your computer. The device will be added to the onscreen list as \"Datel Max Memory\" or \"Action Replay Xbox.\"

  Right-click on the entry for your Action Replay Xbox device and select \"Properties.\" Open the \"Driver\" tab and select \"Update Driver.\" Windows will ask if you want to connect to the Internet to search for drivers; select \"No, not this time.\"

  Click \"Browse\" and navigate to the following directory: \"C:\\Program Files\\Datel\\Action Replay Xbox\\Drivers.\"
