Saints Row is an open-ended action game published by THQ for the Xbox 360 game console in 2006. The game is set in a fictional city that resembles Chicago and Detroit and follows the story of a nameless protagonist who gets caught up in a gang war and rescued by the leaders of the 3rd Street Saints, whom he later joins. The gameplay offers an open environment for players to explore, with elements of both a third-person shooter and a driving game. Dozens of cheat codes can be entered to unlock characters, vehicles and weapons as well as other items in the game.
