How to Get the Bowling Achievement in GTA4

While playing "Grand Theft Auto IV," you can take a break from the main storyline to complete a list of achievements. One particular achievement, "Gobble Gobble," challenges you to throw three consecutive strikes in a game of bowling. Once you learn the technique behind throwing strikes in "Grand Theft Auto IV," you will be able to quickly and easily cross this achievement off your to-do list. Although you'll often find yourself at the bowling alley with a friend or girlfriend, it is best to tackle this task during a solo game.

Instructions

  Set a map marker for one of the two Memory Lanes locations in Liberty City. The first is on the island of Broker on the pier at Firefly Island. The second is across the map in Algonquin on Union Drive West. The map indicates their locations with a bowling ball icon.

  Drive or take a taxi to the bowling alley and enter the door.

  Approach the counter and press "left bumper" then "A" to activate the game. Walk toward any lane to begin bowling.

  Tap your left analog stick twice to the left to make Niko take two steps over.

  Keep the left analog stick completely straight as you pull the stick back, then push it forward. You must complete this motion perfectly to throw a strike.

  Repeat this process three times to get a "turkey" and obtain the "Gobble Gobble" achievement.
