Get the basic game play and strategy down. The basic idea behind Feeding Frenzy is to get through the different levels while eating as much as you can in a certain amount of time. Avoid predators and traps that not only harm you but slow you down. Use the left and right sticks to move the fish around, and the triggers to make the fish dash for food or cover.
Forget about the time constraint. If you like to play the game in Time Trial mode but find that the countdown adds an element of stress to your game play, just calm down and don't worry about the time. If you keep a steady pace, and even a slow pace, you will almost definitely achieve goals well within the allotted amount of time.
Get as many pearls as possible. Pearls give you super points, so go for all the pearls you can. Before exploring a clam, however, watch for it to open and confirm that it bears a pearl.
Bite some tail. To earn big points, try to out-maneuver a fish that you see coming up behind you to attack or eat you. Swim around behind the fish and start biting the fish's tail over and over as quickly as possible. Doing this will give you big points really fast.
Cheat the ten-hour achievement. If you want the Feeding Frenzy honor of playing ten hours straight, but don't actually want to play the game for all ten hours, simply put the controller down after completing a level and do not touch any buttons. The game will continue to think that you're playing and you will eventually receive the ten-hour achievement.
