How to Open the Door in 'Castle Crashers'

"Castle Crashers" is a simple side-scrolling, beat-them-up game in the same vein as the old "Double Dragon" or "Golden Axe" titles. There are no branching paths and very few puzzles to solve. The entire gameplay basically revolves around two rules: Always go right and kill anything that moves. Occasionally, you will come across a door that need to be opened. There are only two methods of opening doors in "Castle Crashers." If the door does not have a padlock on it, you hit it until it collapses into dust. If it does have a padlock, however, you will need a special sword to open it.

     Equip the Cardinal pet and travel to the Full Moon level.

   • 2

     Move close to the second shack that you encounter on the mountain summit. The Cardinal will float away from you into the shack and return with a Keyblade.

   • 3

     Exit the Full Moon level and travel to the level containing the padlocked door.

   • 4

     Hit the padlock with your Keyblade. The padlock will fall off and the door will swing open.
