How Can I Find Out the Email Attached to My Gamertag?

If you want to use Microsoft's Xbox Live service, you must first create a Windows Live ID using an email address that's then tied to your Gamertag. If you're ever unable to access your account, an email is sent to your email address that allows you to reset your password. If you're an Xbox Live user and you want to know what email address is attached to your Gamertag, you can find out through the Xbox 360 dashboard.

     Turn on the Xbox 360 console and press the center button on your Xbox 360 controller.

     Use the directional controls to scroll over to the "Settings" section of the Xbox Guide and select the "Account Management" option.

     Scroll over to the "Your Information" panel and select the "Windows Live ID" option. The email associated with your Gamertag is listed beneath the "Current Windows Live ID" heading.
