How Do You Get Past the Crate Pond in Limbo?

"Limbo" is a Xbox Live 2D platform game that sees you playing a young boy trying to discover what happened to his sister. The game features many imaginative puzzles that require some lateral thinking to complete, including a level at the beginning of Chapter 2 that requires you to cross a pond without drowning. All you have to help you is a single crate in the pond.

Instructions

  Go up to the crate and pull it to the left until you are underneath the rope hanging from a tree.

  Jump on to the crate and jump from the crate to the rope.

  Swing the rope backwards and forwards using the left and right controls on your controller until you have enough momentum to leap to the right-hand branch.

  Jump from this branch to the left-hand branch and make your way to the left. Leap to the branch stump and leap up to the branch on the right-hand side. Leap over the gap and push the log off the edge so it splashes down into the pond below.

  Return to the crate and push it into the pond. Push the log and the crate further into the pond while ensuring that you don't drown.

  Jump onto the crate and move on to the log. Jump from the log to the other side of the pond.
