How to Make a Clan in Halo 3

Log in to Bungie.net, the developer's main site, as a member. Membership with Bungie is free, so if you haven't created an online profile, click the link in the top-right corner of the home screen and follow the prompts to create and personalize your profile. The only information required is your Xbox gamertag that you created when you purchased your Xbox 360 console and your password. Be advised Bungie requires a 14-day waiting period before you can create a Clan.

Click the tab entitled "Groups" from the main screen on your profile once you've been approved to do so via email from Bungie. Click the link on the far right of the page called "Create a Group," which is directly under "Join a Group." Read over the user agreement that pops up and click "I Agree" if you understand and agree to Bungie's terms of use.

Click on the "Choose a Name" drop-down box to select either a pre-selected name or type one of your choosing to name your Clan (a created name must be approved by Bungie.) Type in a Clan motto in the field underneath the name box to give your Clan some identity to set it apart from other Clans; any offensive language or inappropriate comments will be removed by Bungie, so choose your Clan motto carefully. Type in a Clan description underneath your motto in the field provided.

Click the "Create Group" button at the bottom of the page once all the information you provided is to your liking. Click on "Group Homepage" at the bottom of the next box that opens up, congratulating you on your successful creation of a group. As the administrator of the Clan, you can invite friends, customize Clan colors and keep up with your Clan's stats.
