How to Get My Gamertag Information

Your Gamertag is your identity when you play online games over Xbox Live or Games for Windows Live. It is the name that identifies you in online matches, but also has a lot of other information associated with it, such as your Gamerscore, the amount of Microsoft Points you currently have, your reputation with other players and the type of account subscription you currently have active. Your Gamertag information can be retrieved online through your computer or via your console.

  Navigate your Internet browser to the official Xbox website.

  Click the "Sign In" link at the top right corner of the page. Enter the email address associated with your Gamertag and your password. Click "Sign In."

  Click on your Gamertag name in the top right corner to access your Gamertag information.
Xbox 360

  Turn on your Xbox 360 console and sign in to your Gamertag profile if prompted.

  Go to the "My Xbox" menu and then scroll right to the section titled by your Gamertag.

  Press the "A" button to open a menu with your Gamertag information.
