How to Change a Gamertag on a Computer

The Xbox 360 is a home video game console released in late 2005. To use the console, you must have an Xbox LIVE account, and this account is the same one you use for the Zune music marketplace. While you can't change your gamertag on the Xbox LIVE official website, you can change it through the Zune website. Any changes you make to your account on Zune reflect on your Xbox LIVE console account.

     Open Zune on your computer.

     Click "Sign In" and enter your Xbox LIVE information.

     Click "Settings," "Account" and "Summary."

     Click "Change Zune Tag."

     Select a new gamertag and click "OK."
