How to Make Your XBL Avatar Blue

Coloring your Xbox Live Avatar blue, violet, red or any other color is one of the many customization options that are preinstalled with the Avatar Editor software. If you want to add some blue to your Avatar's appearance, you will have to change the character's hair and facial features. Unusual hair colors are actually a secret feature in the Avatar Editor that most people don't know about. Many combinations of blue makeup and hairstyles exist that you can add to your Xbox Live Avatar.

Instructions

  Open the Avatar Editor from the "My Xbox" menu by choosing the "Customize Avatar" tab.

  Enter the "Change My Style" section and select "Facial Features." Scroll through the face paint options such as "Vertical Stripes" and "Butterfly" and pick one. Select between the dark and light blue colors for your Avatar's face paint.

  Select blue colors from the "Eyes" and "Eye Shadow" tabs.

  Return to the lobby of the "Change My Style" menu in the Avatar Editor and rotate the right thumb stick continuously. Continue rotating the stick until the "Hairstyles" tab spins in place. Enter the "Hairstyles" tab and pick your favorite hairstyle. After choosing your hair, scroll to the far right of the color options to find the dark and light blue hair colors.

  Use the "Save and Exit" tab to return to the Xbox 360 main menu and save your blue Avatar's appearance.
