How to Create Your Own Rock Star Avatar

If you want your Xbox live avatar to show everyone how hard you rock out, transforming the character into a rock star is the way to go. The avatar editor comes preloaded with a large selection of punk and rock themed features and items to dress up your avatar. Once you put the finishing touches on the character, everyone on your friend list will clearly see that you are a party animal from the wild appearance of your avatar companion.

  Customize your rock star's bodily appearance from the "Change Appearance" tab in the avatar editor. Rotate the right thumb stick on your Xbox 360 controller for one minute to unlock secret wild hair colors, such as neon red, purple and green. Choose one of the wilder hairstyles such as "Mohawk" or "Afro."

  Pick out an unusual face paint design from the "Facial Features" section of the avatar editor. Wearing pink "Tiger Face Paint" or green "Skull Face Paint" sets your avatar apart as a crazy rock star.

  Enter the "Marketplace" section of the avatar editor to browse the clothing and props available for download. There are plenty of collections in the Marketplace featuring guitars, drum sets and keyboards. Look through the "Guitar Hero," "Rock Band" and "DJ Hero" sets for downloadable items to rock out to.

  Dress your avatar from the "Change My Style" part of the avatar editor. Browse through the clothing options to dress your avatar as an untamed rocker with the "Skull Ring" and "Punk Jacket and Tee" preloaded with the avatar editor. You can also equip anything you have downloaded from the avatar marketplace from this menu.

  Leave the avatar editor though the "Save and Exit" option. This keeps all changes made to your avatar character.
