How to Mod Your Gamertag Without Transfer

Microsoft's Xbox Live was introduced in the early 2000's for the original Xbox system. However, Microsoft revamped Live for use on the Xbox 360 as well as some smartphones. Users utilize many features of the Xbox Live network, one of the most popular being multiplayer gaming. Other features include media sharing with PCs, streaming audio and video, and a large number of plug-ins for popular video, music, and social media websites. Users of the Xbox Live are required to create a gamertag in order to log in and be identified on the network. This gamertag can be a name, a nickname, or just about anything else one can imagine. If you currently have a gamertag and wish to change it, follow these simple instructions to alter it to your liking.

     Turn on your Xbox or Xbox 360 and sign into Xbox LIVE using your current gamertag.

     Select "My Xbox" and then click on your gamertag.
