How to Get Crystals in Kingdom for the Keflings

As a benevolent giant in "A Kingdom for Keflings" for the PC and Xbox 360, you assist the diminutive Keflings as they build up their town. Building components require resources such as lumber, stone, wool and crystals, and these items must be harvested by either your giant or the Keflings. Once they've been collected, they're brought to specific buildings that turn the raw goods into usable materials. You can't harvest crystals until you've found a digging bar, which is hidden somewhere within your village.

Instructions

  Search the area around your starting village for the digging bar, which looks like a brown stick with yellow sparkles. Look in piles of rocks close to your town square.

  Dig out the digging bar by either selecting the rocks and removing them yourself or picking up a Kefling and placing her on the rocks.

  Pick up the digging bar once you've cleared a path to it.
- 4
  Select a gem patch or place a Kefling on a gem patch to harvest crystals.
- 5
  Pick up the crystals and bring them to a building where then can be used for materials or refined into other components.
