How to Play With My Friends on a Cage Match on Call of Duty 4

Although "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" features a Single Player mode, it offers a few hours of gameplay. The multiplayer mode, however, can distract gamers for months. The game features several types of multiplayer options, including Cage Matches and Search and Destroy missions. While players can invite their friends to join them in many of these modes, they cannot invite friends to join them for a Cage Match. At least they're not supposed to be able to, but if they're quick enough, players can exploit a glitch to go head to head against friends in a Cage Match.

Xbox LIVE Gold Membership
Xbox 360 headset or Kinect sensor

Instructions

  Launch your Xbox Live account, and connect to the Internet. If you and your friends do not already have a Gold Membership, you must first purchase one. Otherwise, you cannot form an Xbox Live Party.

  Press the "Guide" button on your controller, and choose "Party."

  Click "Start a Party," and choose "Invite Friends to Party."

  Select the friends you want to invite. They must be online and have a Gold Membership for this to work. You can only select up to seven friends.

  Click "Send Invite."

  Confirm that everyone is in the party by greeting each friend by name and asking him to respond. Once everyone is together, debrief them on how to exploit the Cage Match glitch.

  Select "Call of Duty 4" from your game list, and go to the lobby.

  Press the "Guide" button again, and choose "Party" and "Invite Party to Game."

  Choose to play a Search and Destroy game. As your Xbox is searching for a mission to join, all of your friends must leave the game.

  Leave the game once all of your friends have left.

  Choose Cage Match, and press the "Guide" button. This time you'll be able to select "Invite Friends to Game."
