I Can't Play Multiplayer Games in Xbox Live

In keeping with its predecessor, Microsoft released the Xbox 360 with the ability to connect to the Internet for cooperative and competitive gameplay. If you cannot connect to Xbox Live, some factors may be at play. Microsoft allows you to test your Xbox Live connection, which will tell you what the problem is and how to fix it.

     Choose "System Settings" under the "My Xbox" dashboard menu.

     Press "A" on "Network Settings."

     Select either "Wired Network" or "Wireless Network."

     Choose "Text Xbox Live Connection."

     Confirm installing any updates if nothing is wrong with your connection. Xbox Live will not connect without the most recent update.
