Identifying a Booster
While participating in an Xbox live game, if you come across two players hiding in a corner of the map acquiring kills off of each other, they are most likely "nuke boosting." Nuke boosters can win the match unfairly by killing their accomplice player 25 times, thus killing the rest of the players with the "Nuke" kill streak (25 consecutive kills). "Nuke boosting" is mostly performed in the "Free-for-All" game mode, or the "Team Deathmatch" game mode.
Once a hacker induces a "wall glitching" virus, he is capable of seeing through walls in-game. Spotting these players is a little bit difficult, but it's possible. When you are killed in a "Free for All" match, watch the kill-cam after dying. Wall glitchers can be recognized by their kill-cams; if all the kill-cam shows is the player randomly pointing at a wall and shooting, they have infected themselves with the "wall glitch virus."
Sped-up games are the easiest to identify, but are difficult to trace to a specific hacker. Once you have entered a game that is sped-up, it is very noticeable, since everyone is moving over twice the speed they normally should.
Reporting a Booster
Press the Xbox button located in the middle of the Xbox controller. Use the left joystick to navigate, highlight the "Friends" section, and press the "A" button. Navigate to the right, until you reach the last tab that is labeled "Players."
Navigate down until you highlight the booster's screen name. Press the "A" button.
Navigate down toward the bottom of the list until you highlight the "File Complaint" button, and press the "A" button. Confirm that you're filing a complaint by reselecting "File Complaint" on the next screen.
From here on, follow the directions to file a complaint. Complaints are categorized in many sections. Choose the categories that explain the game alterations/errors best.
Confirm the complaint by pressing "File complaint" once more. Xbox will notify you that you have successfully filed a complaint.
