How to recover an Xbox LIVE Gamertag on your Xbox 360 console

The Xbox 360 gaming platform, created by Microsoft, was released on Nov. 22, 2005 in the United States. The platform was the second video game console released by Microsoft and was preceded by the original Xbox. Xbox Live is the online multiplayer gaming and digital media service created by Microsoft. Using a gamertag (a player's username), gamers can keep track of stats and personal preferences. It is easy to transfer your gamertag from one Xbox 360 to another by simply "recovering" the gamertag on the console you're using.
