How to Play Online on Grand Theft Auto IV

"Grand Theft Auto IV" is a sandbox third-person shooter that is available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. First released in 2008, the game received high reviews for its excellent single-player storyline and its living, breathing open-world setting. The game also contains a multiplayer mode that allows players to experience the open-world setting with others online.

Instructions

  Plug an ethernet cable into the ethernet port at the back of your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 console.

  Press "Up" on the directional pad to access the mobile phone while in single-player mode.

  Scroll down to "Multiplayer" and press "A" for Xbox 360 or "X" for PS3. The game will prompt you to sign in to your Xbox Live Gold Account or Playstation Network Account. Sign in to your respective account.

  Select "Player Match", "Ranked", or "Party Mode". Press "A" or "X" to make a selection.

  Choose from one of fourteen game modes. Press "A" or "X" to make a selection. You will enter a multiplayer lobby with other players and wait for the game to start.
