Sign in to your Xbox account if you are not already. You will need an Internet connection to do so. Press the “Guide” center button on the Xbox 360 controller and press “X” to sign in.
Select “Messages” from the dashboard (accessible via the “Guide” button). Create a new message, and select the person to whom you wish to send your points from your friends list.
Enter the code on the Xbox Live Microsoft Points card in the body of message composition screen. Select “Send Message” to send the points off to your friend. When your friend receives the message, they can redeem your Microsoft Points on their own Xbox Live account.
