Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn off your Xbox 360 console. Unplug the cables from the rear of the box. You'll need full access to the back of the console (the back of the console should be facing you, in a horizontal, top-up position).
Place the two tabs on the back of the Wireless Adapter into the two slots on the back of the Xbox 360 console (the slots are located on the right side of the console above the Ethernet port). The LED lights on the adapter should be on the left side of the adapter.
Plug the adapter into the USB port.
Raise the antenna on the adapter. The antenna will swivel 90 degrees, parallel to the adapter.
Plug the power and video cables back into your console. Turn on your Xbox 360. Log into your profile.
Select "System Settings" under "My Xbox."
Choose "Network Settings."
Select "Configure Network."
Click on the "Basic Settings" tab. Select "Wireless Mode."
Select "Scan for Networks." Choose the wireless network to which you want to connect.
Enter your wireless network password if required. Select "Done."
Press "B" on your controller.
Select "Test Connection." If everything connects correctly, you will receive a message saying "Xbox LIVE is up and running."
