Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn the system off. Locate the port connectors in the back of the console. Unplug any wires to make room for the adapter.
Plug in the wireless adapter. Look on the back to find the slots where the wireless adapter connects. Hold the adapter and push into the slots, just above the USB connectors and power plug.
Input the cable. Input and output ports (I/O) are in the back. Take the cable and connect it to the appropriate port for the wireless adapter.
Raise the antenna. Check the display light on the adapter. A green light reveals connection on the wireless adapter, if functional and properly connected.
Test it out. Turn your Xbox 360 back on to ensure proper connection. When it turns on, a screen (dashboard) appears with many tabs. Look for the one that says "System" and follow the instructions to join the adapter to the wireless router.
Reboot to accept changes to the connection. Because you added a new source of connection, the Xbox 360 requires rebooting. This allows the console a chance to accept the change given to it.
