How to Connect to Xbox LIVE Without an Adapter

The Xbox 360 console requires a wireless adapter to connect through a wireless network. It is possible to connect to Xbox LIVE without an adapter by using a wired connection. This is accomplished by connecting a network cable between the console and a network router or directly to the modem itself. The wired connection will connect to Xbox LIVE just as well as it would using an adapter to connect to a wireless network.
