How to Change the Xbox Region

Whether you have moved, bought a used Xbox or simply input the wrong information the first time around, changing the location (region) on your Xbox is sometimes necessary. It is a quick and simple process that doesn't require any fancy equipment or special knowledge.

     Power on your Xbox with no disc in the tray.

     Select "Console Settings." Console settings can be found under the "System" section of the dashboard.

     Select "Locale."

     Enter your region information.
