Xbox Live is a subscription-based online gaming community that allows users to play multiplayer games as well as purchase and download movies, television shows, Xbox games and game add-ons using Microsoft Points. Xbox Live subscription fees and Microsoft Points can be billed to a credit or debit card or purchased using prepaid retail cards. If you no longer want to use your credit card on Xbox Live, you can remove the details from your account.

Visit XboxLive.com, and click "Sign In." Log in using your email address and password.

Click "My Account" in the green navigation bar, and select "Manage Payment Options."

Click "Remove" next to your credit card in the list of payment options.

Select "Yes" when prompted to confirm the removal. Your account will be updated, and your credit card details will be removed.
