Xbox users can download 27 arcade games from the internet. These games are downloaded by using Xbox Live. The full versions of the games must be bought before being downloaded. The price of the games range from $4.99 to $14.99. Many of the games, such as Gauntlet, Ms. Pac Man, and Joust, are rereleased versions of classic arcade games. Demo versions of the game are free to download. The downloaded Xbox games are saved on the hard drive. No disc is required to play the downloaded games.

      Select "Xbox Live Arcade" from the Xbox main menu. The main menu can be reached by turning the console on without a game inserted into the disc drive.

      Select a genre of game from the Xbox Live Arcade menu.

      Choose the title of a game to bring up the menu for that game.

      Choose the full game or demo download option. The price of the full game will be displayed in the game information.

      Select the "Download Now" option. You will be prompted to confirm you want to purchase the game if you select the full game download.
