How to Start a New XBox Live Membership

In 2002 Microsoft released what is now the leading online gaming service, Xbox Live. The system allows users to not only participate in multi-player, online game play, but also delivers digital media for free and for pay. Xbox Live requires a membership for a monthly fee, and is available on the Xbox. In 2005, when the Xbox 360 was introduced, an updated edition of the system was released. Currently, there is a Windows version of Xbox Live, Games for Windows--Live.
