How to Download Content from Xbox Live

Ever since the advent of online video gaming, millions of people have been brought together in a massive and virtual online world. One of the most prominent features of the Xbox Live marketplace is the ability to download new content for existing games. These steps will show you how to download content from Xbox Live.

Xbox 360 console
Xbox 360 hard drive
Xbox 360 controller
Xbox Live membership
Xbox Live points to spend
High speed Internet connection

Instructions

  Turn on your console and log in to Xbox Live. Boot up your Xbox 360 and log into your profile, which will also log you into Xbox Live.

  Scroll to the left and select Xbox Live Marketplace. Use your analog stick and scroll to the left to the Xbox Live Marketplace tab.

  Enter the Game Store. Scroll to the Game Store and press the “A” button to enter the store.

  Select the game that you wish to download content for. The first tab in the Game Store will be “All Games.” Click this to enter a selection of all games that have downloadable content on Xbox Live. Find the game that you are looking for, and press “A” to see what downloads they have.

  Select the content you wish to download. Most games will offer several free downloads, and will have others that cost Xbox Live points. Scroll to the download that you want and press “A” to select it. Press the “A” button to confirm the download and allow the content to download to your Xbox 360 console.
