  Turn on your console. When greeted with the "My Xbox" menu, scroll to the right until coming across the "My Profile" tab; then press the "A" button to select it.

  Highlight the "Change My Features" tab; then hit the "A" button to select it. Use your directional pad to scroll through the various skin colors. After finding the right skin color, press the "A" button to affix it to your avatar.

  Browse the menu's other features before exiting. In addition to your avatar's skin color, you can change the clothing, facial features and fashion accessories. If need be, you can even change your avatar's gender.
