How to Upload My XBox Avatar to Facebook or MySpace

The "Free Your Avatar" service from Xbox Live allows users to create images of their Xbox avatars to use on social networking sites such as Myspace or Facebook. The service detects the avatar your created on Xbox Live, or allows you to choose from pre-created ones. You may choose between different backgrounds, props and text for the image. Users can also upload backgrounds for free.

  Go to the "Free Your Avatar" website.

  Click "Get Started."

  Enter your Xbox Live Gamertag and click "Go," or drag-and-drop a pre-made avatar from the list.

  Click "Backgrounds" or "Props," then drag-and-drop desired items in the indicated area.

  Click "Text" and enter the text you want. You can drag it where you want on the image.

  Click the drop-down menu labeled "What do you want to make?" and select Myspace or Facebook.

  Click "Finished" when done and you will be prompted to download an image. Upload this to the respective social networking site.
