Instructions
Click "Start" and click the "Control Panel." Click "System" to see if you're running Windows XP Sservice Pack 2 or higher. Update your operating system if you're using an older Service Pack.
Turn on your computer after installing the latest Service Pack, then connect the USB cable on your Xbox Vision Camera to an open USB port on your computer. The "Found New Hardware" wizard launches.
Click "Start," the "Control Panel," then double-click "Add Hardware" if the "Found New Hardware" wizard doesn't launch automatically.
Select the option to let Windows automatically locate and install the driver for your webcam. You should see a confirmation message when the driver is installed.
Place your Xbox Vision Camera on a flat surface and adjust its angle so it's facing you.
Launch your webcam, video or instant messaging program to use your webcam. Choose the "Recording" or "Video Chatting" option. The Ring of Light (RoL) on the camera lights up when the camera is in use.
